GESL Show & Tell Exhibition

Heya to everyone out there...

This blog has become a white elephant over the festive season!
It's time to make a comeback and Revive the spirit.
First of all, some of you may be involved in creating the CD (similar to AED102 project) for artifacts, proofs of event... That has been processing quite smoothly.
Next, we'll be presenting our big banner on 17th & 18th March. These two days are extremely important as GESL exhibition (Theme: Show & Tell) style.. At all times, the booth must have at least 4 people attending to it.

Only A1 is not included in this duty roster because her timetable is 0830 to 1530 on tuesday and 0830 to 1330 followed by 1530 to 1730 on wednesday...
Unless you have a similar timetable like hers, please do not absent yourself.
The timeslots have been arranged in a way that is fair to everyone so everyone should get a fair amount of duty distribution.

This is the very last service you will do to GESL.
We don't owe anybody... So do your part.

Receipts!

For people who are making claims, this is a last call. I believed everyone have received a message from Sam about the meet up next Monday 24 Nov 08 to collect all receipts and claim forms. I arranged to meet in City hall because it is more convenient for people coming from all parts of Singapore. I need you (those people who need to give me receipts or claim forms) to reply me whether will you be there. My number is 96771276.

For people who do not submit the receipts and claim forms, the most you will get back 50% of your expenditure because we cannot get the money from Hua Min if we don't have receipts. Gladys said that for people who do not submit the receipts and claim forms by the deadline 24 Nov 08, you will not get your money back.

I understand that most people would want to get their money back so I seek your cooperation. We need to settle this claim soon because Hua Min Primary School also gave us a deadline and if we cannot produce our proof of purchase by the deadline, we will not be able to get the money from them.

I believed that you won't want the rest of the members to fork out money to pay you the remaining 50% of your expenditure due to your irresponsible. It will not be fair to them. So PLEASE! Give me your receipts and claim forms ASAP!!!

Project Title: Primary Two Math and Science Trail
Period: August - November

I think this should be okay. The time frame is a rough gauge on my part and the project title I just followed what we put in the consent forms for the students.

Receipts

Hi people!

This is a final call for those who need to make claims for our GESL event. I have a few claim forms with me but no receipts attached. I need the receipts to be given to me so that I can show it to Hua Min's admin manager to get the 50% claims from them. They will not give the money if we don't have the receipts. Both claim forms and receipts are important. For those who need to claim but have not given the receipts and claim forms, please do so as soon as possible.

If you find it difficult to pass those stuffs to me, you can give them to Petrina as well as she's helping me with this. Please make arrangement with Petrina or me to pass the claim forms and receipts.

We need to settle everything by end of November 08, otherwise we will not be able to get the money from Hua Min after the dateline. Please understand and cooperate with us.

Claims

For those who need to claim but have not given me the receipts, I will be in school next Tuesday, 11 Nov 08. My exam paper ends at 11.30am and I will stay till around 12.30pm for those who want to claim, so you can arrange to meet me within that time to pass me all the receipts together with the claim forms and to claim your money. =)

For those who don't want to meet in school then maybe we can meet at Boon Lay MRT station?

I will need everyone to pass me the claim forms and receipts by next week so that we have everything ready to meet Huamin admin manager next week and get money from them.

I hope everyone can cooperate and give me everything that you need to give me by next Tuesday. Thank you. =)

Finance and Claims

Dear all,

Those who have not paid me the $22 yet, please pay me by this Wednesday, 5 Nov 08.

Those who wish to claim, there are a few steps to take note.
1) Fill in the claims form (The details in the form are required).
2) Photocopy receipts before the words fade.
3) Staple the claims form, receipts and photocopied receipts together.
Please give me the claims form and receipt latest by this Wednesday, 5 Nov 08 so that I can do the tabulation and prepare my budget file to be given to Huamin Primary.

For those who wish to claim without receipts, please fill in the claims form as well. I will discuss with Huamin Primary to calculate that amount in to the 50% claims from them. I hope they will agree to the claims. But if they do not agree, I will try to pay you back with the remains from the amount that everyone forked out.

The school admin manager will only be available next week and Petrina will help to arrange a meeting.

Currently, I only have $114 left (including the leftover amount from the GESL runway after paying Idzham $400 for the food). For claimants with receipts, I will pay back first from my own pocket. Those without receipts, I will have to see whether Huamin approves or reject the claims, so I will not be able to pay back at the moment. I hope you understand.

Updates

Hi all,

There are a few ways to go to school on 3rd November.

#1. Quinn's place at 715am. From Yishun interchange, take 804, four bus stops.

#2. Entrance of Huamin Primary School at 730am. From Yishun interchange take 806. I don't remember how many stops though. Anyone has any idea?

I need you to email me to let me know which option you'll be choosing. I need people for #1 because there are quite a few things to carry from Quinn's place. I will collate everything and post it here and you can arrange with the people within the groups to meet at Yishun interchange or anything you want. Both rides from the interchange is approximately 15 minutes.

Another thing is the attire. As mentioned, do wear berms or jeans for girls, and shoes. First day will be the Rise and Rumble shirt and on the 5th will be the blue NIE tee. Do borrow from your friends if you don't have it.

As for greeting, everyone will be like... Mr Sam, Mr Idzham, Ms Petrina etc.

I will send the final proposal to the revive email, I need you all to look through it, print anything you want such as the programme outline. I'll print a list of numbers for you all.

Do let me know if you all need anything. I can't really think of anything more right now, so I'll need your help to tell me if I need to prepare anymore things. Thanks!
